Exciting News!

Well… exciting news after sad news.  If you bear with me for the sad news I promise a happy ending!  A few weeks ago City Art Supply located on Cherokee closed their doors.  As a local business owner it is always a little disheartening to hear of other businesses shutting down.  It also proves that St. Louis still has a ways to go in our efforts to shop locally.  But as they say, when a door closes another one opens and this story ends no differently.

Boy Paper!  The biggest problem I have with scrap booking is the “cutesyness” of the whole thing.  Cute is good.  Cute is even great, if say, you are five.  Or if you are scrap booking pictures of your five year old little girl.  Cute is not good if you are preserving pictures of your eighteen year old son.  The Basics line by Glitz design is far from cute, in fact is so not cute it’s almost cute!  I fell in love with the guitar paper and the cars and street …

Ugh!  Where to begin?  I think I reached the end of the internet trying to find a good description of Tim Holtz’s products to feature on the site.  Not a single one of them seemed to do these awesome supplies any justice!  When I began ordering for the store these were suggested to me by a friend and I became instantly obsessed!  I think what draws me in the most is how versatile the products are.  They aren’t just used for stamping or scrap booking.   There are endless possibilities!  …
