Needles 4 Newborns Recap

I’ve been trying to recap this weekends Needles for Newborns event for almost a week now.  At first I thought it was the lack of sleep but I am starting to realize I might just be at a loss for words.

Needles For Newborns ~ Crafting With Purpose

Ok, I get it… I pretty much start every post with “I’m so excited” or “We’re so excited.”  But come on!  I work in a craft store everyday how can I not be constantly excited?
So again, and this time more so than others I am SO EXCITED!  Paste is teaming up with South City Studios and Girls Guide to the Galaxy to present Needles for Newborns.  It’s a 24 hour needle event to benefit St. Louis Children’s Hospital.  Paste will be open 24 hours welcoming local knitters and crocheters willing …

Nikki ~ Cascade Yarns

In Love.  I am in Love.  When I first opened the box containing the Nikki Yarn from Cascade I freaked.  I haven’t even been a big knitter myself but this drove me to dust off the old needles and give it a try again.  I stocked three of the colors available and seriously they are gorgeous!  The orange/green/red combo reminds me of Jolly Ranchers and I have no idea why but I swear I taste them when I look at it.  The details are below for those of you …
